LED plant lights should be installed scientifically to effectively improve the light utilization efficiency of plants. In order to ensure the supplementary light intensity of plants, the plant supplementary light should be placed as close as possible to the plant's top, and the distance should be set according to the power of the plant light. Generally, the closer the distance between the plant light and the plant, the higher the light utilization efficiency. By using led plant lights for supplementary light, due to the minimal thermal energy of LEDs, plants will not be burned and can be illuminated at close distances, with a closest distance of 10 cm. For plant lights with power less than 8W, the irradiation distance is usually around 0.5 meters, while for plant lights with power greater than 8W, the irradiation distance can be between 0.7-1 meters.
The time for supplementary light using greenhouse LED plant growth lights varies according to different growth periods and environments of plants. In rooms with weak light but can still receive scattered sunlight, the supplementary light time should be no less than 5 hours; for balconies with less than 4 hours of sunlight (only half a day of sunlight in the morning or afternoon), the supplementary light time should be no less than 4 hours; for shaded and indoor areas without sunlight, the supplementary light should be no less than 10 hours. Generally, the supplementary light time during the growing period should be longer and during the dormant period should be shorter. For cloudy, rainy, or foggy days, the supplementary light time should be no less than 10 hours. Also, since plants perform photosynthesis during the day, they do not need supplementary light at night.
Wall latex paint: If you choose to use latex paint, the wall area should be very smooth in order to ensure high reflectivity. Choose pure white color instead of bright white color, and apply it to the surface correctly. Latex paint is a good and cheap solution as its reflectivity exceeds 85%, making it an efficient choice. Plastic film: Plastic film is a polymer with one side being black and the other being white. It can reflect nearly 95% of lighting, but be aware that plastic film can generate a lot of heat, use heating and cooling systems to remove heat.
Measure the area of the planting area. Multiply the length by the width to obtain the area of the planting area in square meters. You can make the correct selection by providing the power per square meter, which is the number of commercial greenhouse led grow lights installed per square meter. This can uniformly distribute each light so that the outer edges receive strong light, making the light distribution more even and effective for the growth of plants.
Photosynthesis and transpiration rates are directly affected by temperature, humidity, and airflow. Find the best temperature and humidity for your plants between 50% and 70%, and have sufficient airflow to replenish carbon dioxide.
Nowadays, greenhouse led grow lights are becoming more and more advanced in technology, and their powerful practical functions and advantages are widely used and loved in indoor planting. The development trend of LED plant lights in indoor planting field will be unstoppable.
